We all use our glasses for different purposes, so it would make sense that glasses can be customised to make each pair even more unique for you and to fit your lifestyle even better!
Photochromic lenses, such as Transitions® lenses are reactive lenses that darken when exposed to ultraviolet light. This means your glasses are clear inside, and darken when outside.
Our anti-reflection coatings help reduce the amount of reflections from the surface of your lenses. This is ideal when in an environment where there are harsh artificial lights such as in office settings or when driving.
Our anti-reflection coatings are just £35
Some patients prefer to have a blue anti-reflection coating. This is usually due to prolonged periods of time in front of computer screens and smartphones. From a scientific standpoint, computers and other devices do not emit an unsafe level of blue light and actually, they emit less blue light than normal daylight.
The College of Optometrists states: "The best scientific evidence currently available does not support the use of blue-blocking spectacle lenses in the general population to improve visual performance, alleviate the symptoms of eye fatigue or visual discomfort, improve sleep quality or conserve macula health."
Our blue anti-reflection coatings are just £45
Polarised lenses are the clearest type of sunglass lenses on the market. Unlike normal sunglass lenses that darken the image. These lenses also reduce glare from the ground, such as reflections from the surface of water, or that dazzling light you get on a road surface after it has rained!
