The current cost a private eye examination is £50 and includes OCT scans of and imaging of your eyes, this is completely free for our Eyeplan members.
We recommend that NHS patients upgrade to our enhanced eye exam with OCT scans and imaging for a detailed view of their eyes. This appointment is in addition to the basic NHS funded exam and costs £20.

- you are eligible for an NHS complex lens voucher – your optician can advise you about your entitlement

- you get tax credits and meet the criteria
- you get Universal Credit and meet the criteria
- you have a low income and are named on a valid NHS HC2 certificate for full help with health costs
